The majority of our international delivery methods require a signature upon receipt, so we regret that we are unable to ship to a PO box address. Customers who refuse to pay the corresponding import duties and refuse delivery will not be refunded under any circumstances. Please note that we do not cover consequential or incidental damages, including, but not limited to, loss of use, loss of business, loss of profit, loss of data, expenses related to third-party contracts, downtime, and time and effort costs. All defects and issues must be reported to us upon initial discovery of the defect, as continuing to use a faulty device may render the device irreparable. In such cases, the warranty will be void. The device is still within the warranty period. All security measures have been removed (passwords, Face ID, iCloud, Find My iPhone, KNOX, Google accounts). All personal items have been backed up and removed as the device data will be wiped upon receipt. All miscellaneous items have been removed (including SIM cards, memory cards, cases, and other accessories). The device and included accessories in the purchase are securely packaged according to the guidelines specified on our website. You are responsible for the device until we accept delivery of it. Please note that we do not provide any kind of warranty for data loss, as all returns will be reset and data erased. We strongly advise you to back up the data on your device before sending it to us. In most cases, we will provide you with a return shipping label. If you are returning the device at your own expense, please send it via a secure, tracked, and insured service.
Please note that the parcel remains your responsibility until it is safely received at our premises. Upon receipt of your returned device, we will contact you to confirm receipt of your return. All returned devices are processed through our quality control process, including comprehensive aesthetic and functional diagnostics and data erasure. This is the same process used prior to shipping any unit.
Returned devices will be processed within 24 to 48 hours of receipt, unless additional information or clarifications are required from the buyer access codes, clarification of reason for return, etc. Our return process is customer-focused, so most returns are approved, except in situations where the warranty does not cover the issue (please see exceptions above). While we reserve the final decision, in most situations, we will follow the customer's preference.In the event that a return has been approved and a refund has been agreed upon, a refund of the paid purchase price will be issued according to the original payment method. In some cases, at the customer's request, we may repair the returned device and return it to them. We strive to repair all warranty returns in a reasonable timeframe, but timelines vary depending on stock availability and/or spare parts. While we prioritize customer satisfaction, in some cases, a return may prove impossible to accept. Reasons for return refusal include, but are not limited to: Product returned outside the warranty period. Issues not covered by the warranty. Repair, alteration, or modification of the device. In the event that your return is not eligible for a refund, we will contact you to arrange return. Please note that a return fee of €15.00 is required for return and processing fees. If funds are not received within 30 days, SmartProjects may dispose of your device(s). Some devices may include accessories such as a USB charging cable.
If accessories are not returned with the device, we reserve the right to deduct corresponding fees from the refund amount. Each device undergoes thorough testing, exceeding industry standards, before being listed for sale and again before shipping, to provide our buyers with complete peace of mind. We ensure that each warranty return goes through the same testing process to ensure consistency and improve the quality we offer to our customers. If, after thorough testing, we find that a warranty return is feasible, the device will be returned to you upon payment of the corresponding fees within the required timeframe.
The return processing fee is €10.00 (within Europe; destinations outside Europe may incur additional shipping fees). Please note that under no circumstances will we offer a partial refund upon receipt of a complaint filed under the above conditions. If we are unable to reach you regarding any additional information we require, or in the case of returns, to obtain the associated return fees, your return will be held by SmartProjects for a period of 30 days. After this period, SmartProjects may dispose of the item, which will no longer be eligible for our return or warranty policy. Our goal is to ship all orders on the same day as received before 4:00 pm (Portugal standard time) (Monday to Friday - excluding European holidays).
